Grafisch ontwerp of grafisch vormgeven is het visueel ontwerpen van communicatie, vaak vanaf de start. Elke doel van communicatie is anders. Het is belangrijk het goede medium op het goede moment te kiezen en deze op de juiste manier vorm te geven.
Fotografie is kijken. Op het juiste moment op de juiste plek staan. Je bewust zijn van je omgeving, wat er gebeurd en wat er kan gaan gebeuren. Het maakt de blik van een fotograaf uniek. Misschien is er wel niemand zo bewust aanwezig als een fotograaf.
